Brunei's Starlodge Hotel Relaunched

STARLODGE Brunei officially opened its doors yesterday following a year of major renovation works and is set to cater to the country’s growing business and leisure tourism market.
Officially launching StarLodge at the hotel’s premises in the heart of Jerudong yesterday was the guest of honour, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources (MIPR), Hjh Normah Suria Hayati Pehin Jawatan Dalam Seri Maharaja Dato Seri Utama Dr Hj Awg Mohd Jamil Al-Sufri, who signed on a giant backdrop and later released Koi fish into a pond to mark the launch, which concluded with a re-ception at the Banquet Hall.
Strategically located near the Jerudong Park Playground and accessible from the Tutong-Muara Highway, StarLodge Brunei has 88 guest rooms designed in earth-tone colours to deliver a restful yet fun stay with a comfortable work environment.
Guests can get a free shuttle service to the playground and city centre, as well as access to WiFi in the hotel’s public areas and in its guest rooms, which are also equipped with LCD flat screens and an international selection of TV channels.
According to a press release, the hotel also offers the use of its “StarSplash Pool” in a courtyard setting and a range of “Stay + Activity” packages that include golfing, ATV rides and horseback riding.
StarLodge is also home to three delectable restaurants – the MoMo Restaurant, Kitaro Lodge and Starz Lounge, each offering extensive menus with a wide selection of local, Western and Japa-nese cuisine.
